We work with the client to understand the needs and requirements of the project. Through the concept design stage we will then turn those requirements into design concepts for review with the client. Our design effort is only complete when the client is satisfied with the design aesthetics and project budget.
Sales material will be provided to the client at the completion of the design phase to allow the client to begin a preconstruction sales program or to plan the post construction sales program. The following formats represent the typical sales vehicles the client may choose:
Complete construction drawings will include detailed and dimensioned architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical plans of the building project. At the discretion of the client Milne will also provide civil and landscape plans for work extending beyond the structure. Milne Construction's 50 plus years of experience as a design/builder of quality memorial structures gives us the edge over firms that provide only design services. Our construction documents detail the construction of the building to our high standards and include the innovations and quality features that Milne has brought to the industry.
Specifications are provided for the project in book form or on the drawings as appropriate to the project. The specifications provide a comprehensive description of specific materials and manufacturers, performance requirements, installation methods, quality control and warranty.
Milne Construction can also assist the owner with the permitting process.
